MAGS Searchable Databases

MAGS maintains a database of information from numerous unique sources that you will not find anywhere else. Anybody can search this database by surname and given name. If you do not select a specific database, the search will return results from each of the datasets. If you are not logged in as a member, the search returns only the name and dataset name. To see the details of each record, you must join MAGS or login to your member account.

Several of our datasets are open for anyone to see. To see the detailed results for these datasets as a non-member, you must first select the specific dataset before executing the search. The following are open datasets.

  • Basel missionaries
  • Cleveland Trinity records
  • Der Kurier index
  • Geissenhainer baptisms, confirmations, and marriages

Please refer to the subpages in the MAGS database descriptions in the menu above for more information about each of our databases. There are also detailed instructions about how to modify your searches to improve your results.

Please select the appropriate menu option above for member or public access. You must be logged in to your account to use the member database search.

This is a test of the new MAGS database in the ENS Unified Data Module. The remaining datasets will be added in the near future.
